Connect
- 1Go to Settings → Integrations and choose Connect Pipedrive. Any owner or admin can do this once for the whole workspace.
- 2Sign in to Pipedrive and allow Veew. A Pipedrive admin is best: Veew can then add its four "Veew" custom deal fields for you. Veew reads deals, organizations and persons; it never edits your value, stage or persons.
- 3You land back in Veew with Pipedrive showing as connected and organization and deal fields mapped by default. Adjust the mapping under Settings → Fields, where every standard and custom field on deals, organizations and persons can be picked.
Import a deal
Importing copies the deal's details into Veew so a document can be written from them. Your Pipedrive record is the source; the imported copy is what the document reads.
- 1From Deals, choose Import from Pipedrive and search by deal title or organization name.
- 2Pick it. The organization, the linked person (when a contact field is mapped), value and mapped fields come across.
- 3Later, use the deal's Refresh action to pull the latest mapped fields again. Your local edits are kept.
What goes back to Pipedrive
When a proposal is sent or accepted, Veew adds a note to the deal, so it shows in the deal's timeline. Four custom deal fields (the latest Veew document, its status, when it was last viewed, and total views) are kept current as buyers read.
If the person who connected isn't a Pipedrive admin, the note is still added and Settings → Integrations lists the four fields for an admin to create under Company settings → Data fields → Deals. Veew picks them up by name on the next send.
