Deals: the context every document is written from

Add a deal by hand or from HubSpot, attach call notes, keep contacts, and read the brief Veew builds.

Add a deal

  1. 1Go to Deals and choose New deal. Only the company is required; everything else can come later.
  2. 2Fill in Company, Industry and Website, then Contact and deal details: the contact's name and title, Deal name, Amount and Close date. Paste what was said under Notes from your last call, because Veew writes the proposal from those.
  3. 3Choose Create deal. To change anything later, open the deal and choose Edit deal next to Details.
  4. 4With HubSpot connected, Import from HubSpot on the Deals page searches your pipeline by deal or company name; the company, contacts, amount and mapped fields come across.

The deal page

The main column is the deal space panel with the deal's documents beneath it, then Meetings. The right rail holds Details (with Edit deal), Contacts, the deal's team, and Deal intelligence.

Add meeting notes takes a title, when the call happened, and the notes or transcript. Connected notetakers (Granola, Fathom) drop these in on their own. Contacts can be added by hand; one is marked primary and fills {{contact.*}} in documents, and people the AI heard on the calls appear under Heard on the calls.

Deal intelligence is a brief Veew builds from the notes: priorities, pain points, requirements, objections, timing, next steps and the customer's own words. It builds itself when notes arrive; Build brief or Refresh brief runs it now.

Documents and Slack

The + New menu on the Documents card starts a proposal, sales deck or one-pager from this deal. Each document's row menu has Open, Copy link, Hide from deal space and Delete.

With Slack connected, the Slack card on the deal picks which channel hears about opens and accepts for this deal, or falls back to the workspace default channel from Settings → Integrations.
